Backend Developer

About the Role

We're seeking a talented Backend Developer to build robust, scalable server-side applications and APIs that power our innovative products.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices
• Work with databases and optimize query performance
• Implement security best practices and data protection
• Collaborate with frontend teams on API integration
• Monitor and maintain production systems

Technologies We Use

Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, Docker, AWS

Required Skills

• 4+ years of backend development experience
• Strong knowledge of Node.js or Python
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with version control and CI/CD

Nice to Have

• Experience with Firebase and serverless architectures
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with message queues and event-driven systems
• Knowledge of security best practices
